Janas are the Sardinian fairies. The chef I've been designing this logotype for, is from beautiful Sardinia and being a shy person all her efforts to express herself to the outside world are expressed through her recipes, hence the centrifugal spiral. The peafowl (the peacock female) is a traditional symbol in Sardinian handicrafts
